Redang Island is a great place to visit, and one of the options for flights is to take a direct flight.
However, there are limited flights, so it’s important to book your ticket early if you want this option. It is more common to get there by air-land-sea connection, which may be less expensive but takes longer. This blog post lays out various travel connections to Redang so that you can make your decision on how best to fly over and enjoy paradise!
Direct Flight to Redang Airport
Berjaya Air operates the flights to Redang Island Airport. The flights are from Subang Airport to Redang, an ATR 42-500 turboprop aircraft that takes about one hour. The aircraft is also available for private charter flights.
A fun fact about this aircraft is that it has a special livery featuring sea turtles with beautiful underwater scenery known as “JoJo FLight.” The inspiration behind that name came from the resident seas turtles at Taaras Beach & Spa Resort.
